Lynn has just realised that the pattern needs an errata added, because of a typo, so I'll post it here, and I will send out replacement pdf's when she has amended the mastercopy.
She said...
On rows 9 and 23, I've put the ****** in the wrong place.
The * on row 9 should be after the first k3 and on row 23 after the first k5
Hope that helps.
She's worrying about it, because she wanted it to be perfect but I told her we are all knitters and no-one will be cross.

Started :-)
Finally decided to knit the scarf version as I have so much OTNs and on my 'to do list'. So having decided that part came the next part, which yarn to use, that took a bit longer but finally decided on CTH laceweight in Tropical Storm. So far I have managed to knit one and a half repeats and I have to say it has been easy going, so far. I'm just not sure of the colour, it is a bit darker in reality, what do you peeps think?

Though I have to admit it does look better when it has been stretched slightly, so maybe when it is finished and blocked the colour will look ok. Opinions welcome :-)

First Ever Shawl!
Hi everyone. Just got back to knitting after an absence of 15+ years, all N's fault of course! I really wish she would'nt keep dyeing such lovely colours, I keep buying but just don't knit fast enough. Anyway I digress, I fell in love with the lace weight yarn and thought why not, then I get the pattern and the invite to here!! So no excuses now!
This will be my first lace anything and I'm quite excited, but scared. I will be back to post my ongoing knitting saga, but may yell for help!!!

Gauge - what size needles and yarns have you all been using?
Hi from Atlanta, Georgia - I just ordered some lovely medium purple - light lavender yarn from The Yarn Yard to make this shawl. (Can't remember the name of the color right now). Natalie told me to use 3.5 mm needles - but here at work I don't know what size that is in USA sizes. I will figure that bit out when I get home.
What colors, yarn size and needle size are you all using?
Right now in Atlanta we are having a heat wave - at 100 or near 100 every day - this is the time when everyone's air conditioners are blasting - so it is nice to have a little stole or shawl (what is the difference?) to put over you shoulders. The humidity has been less than 40 percent around here - which is low for the summer. I do not know how people who live in this kind of hot humid climate ever got anything done. I had to turn the dial on my A/C twice last night to make it cooler in my bedroom.
talk to you all later - Hester
